Debuting in 1999, the groundbreaking Royal Diaries series now amounts to 16 diaries of remarkable famous and not-so-famous princess, queens, and royal women. After five years on the market, the series promises to end in 2004 with 20 diaries. Listed here are the concluding diaries' titles, summaries and additional information:

Dear America and Royal Diaries veteran Kathryn Lasky presents the diary of Princess Kazunomiya, a Japanese princess and sister of Emperor Komei who was married to the shogun Iemochi at the age of 16 as part of a political alliance to strengthen ties between the imperial monarchy and the shogunate and entered a convent after his early death.

Release Date: Information on the release date of Kazunomiya: Prisoner of Heaven varies. Some sites are saying the book will be out in August of 2004 while other sites, such as Barnes and Noble, are saying the book will not be published until October 28, 2004.
